Richard's Fine Woodworking - I once had about twenty of these slabs of north van walnut that my cousin got from the back yard of the guy that owns chainsaw store on pemberton. I made him a kitchen with most of it what a sweet kitchen the wood is so nice. I did not know what to do with the left overs. If I cut them into boards I would not get much. I often thought how cool they were as they are, they stood there for years until i finally made this unit. The boards are very warped and twisted if I made them into boards I would jiont and plane them to be staight and flat. So I took some warped and twisted noth van cherry for shelves and just fitted everything together with thru tenons so its easy to move.
